Martin family party. Always a blast with lots of food, drinks, and dancing. lol. it was mark's mom, uncle, and cousin's birthday rolled into one swingin party. vaughn had a great time dancing, he was first on the dance floor hahaha.

alternate mode of transportation. since we will now live in the boonies and won't have any $ for gas and car maintenance, i get to take the train everyday.

Just another manic monday. Running late, listening to kroq, decided to wear contacts, makeup and faux pearls, jacked mark's sunglasses, and discovered the enormous zit crater on my forehead. sigh. i can't win.

365 Project

so my friend jessica (cookie) started this 365 project. the whole premise is to take a picture each day of something that is part of your daily life for one year, then hopefully be able to look back and see what happened to the blurs of days that sped by. i got really excited about it -- haven't been excited about anything for a long time. life is so fast here in the US that sometimes i feel like the days blur into weeks, then months, then years. and next thing i know, it's already a new year and i have nothing to show for it. so hopefully this project will do me some good and will also highlight the things that are important to me as well as the mundane day to day life. to all my friends -- it would be so great if you guys can join this project! if you are willing, here are some guidelines:

- take a camera with you everywhere, or if you don't have one, take pictures via your phone
- try to caption the shots, if it's too much work, then maybe just the date and what day it is on your 365
- you can start anytime as long as it's one full year

of course i know there are certain life demands that will preclude me from posting each day. but i will at least take a snapshot of something starting today. let's see how long i can keep this up lol.
