did another random photoshoot of vaughn and mark while we were in south el monte this weekend. scorching hot weather watching the sierra hills fire rage on and parked on the sidewalk underneath a shady tree. our free lunch was running late so what to do? eh di mag picture picture =)Things are looking up! My prayers were heard =) Mark's dad just got his citizenship interview and we just made a counteroffer on the house! So the waiting game begins. The seller has 3 days to accept/reject our offer and of course I'm preparing myself for the worst. If they reject it, oh well, we're back to square 1. But it's ok. I think I'm beginning to comprehend that home-buying is not exactly like going to the mall to shop for shoes lol.
This month is full of celebrations, today is Auntie Heny's birthday so there's gonna be a party at Uncle Edward's place tonight. Tomorrow we are celebrating my mom and Ate Kate's birthday so we're gonna be at La Mirada for lunch, then we dash over to Canyon Country to celebrate the Lauron sister's birthdays. On Sunday we are going to Disneyland with the Flemings (and maybe Steve) to celebrate Jack's birthday. Hectic weekend, but fun!
MTV is doing a reality tv show and you can be Paris' new bff. I think it's absolutely ridiculous but Mark's co-worker asked for his support, lol! I did not vote, nor will I ever vote (no, i don't vote on american idol despite my mom and mark's mom urging me to do so hahaha) . The only time I've ever voted for these tv reality contest things is for jabbawockeez because they were going up against a group that's totally not up to par with them. other than that, i really couldn't care less. =P

- i HATE apartment living. i hate that our neighbors bang on the wall when vaughn and i are trying to play with blocks or his wooden shape sorter. we don't even play at unreasonable times of the day but well, i guess some people are just bitter and unhappy!
- i hate that when my neighbor hoses down their backyard area (yes same neighbor), the water and the dirt trickles into our backyard and pools there! yyeeeaaarggghhh!
- i hate house hunting. i hate mortgage lenders. house buying is not doing so great right now, another roadblock. i am putting my hands up in the air and admitting defeat. so maybe no house until late this year, or maybe none at all this year. whatever. I'm over it.
- did i mention i hate my neighbors??? oh...yes i did
- work is insane busy. but that's always how it is every quarter so i'm going to vent now before it starts to go nuts here and i can't call back friends and see family anymore (hi damon! i will call you back promise...lori, i think i'm going to disneyland this weekend i will try to pick up mickey mouse at toon town)
and last: does anyone have any money they can donate to my house fund? HAHAHAHAHA! fat chance of that happening. but well, a girl can always try. be well everybody, don't be as frazzled as me. XO
